The city of Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, is easily accessible from various countries around the world. We have prepared detailed information for you to make your journey as comfortable as possible.

1. By Plane:

 

Chisinau International Airport (Aeroportul Internațional Chișinău, code: RMO) is located just 13 km from the city center. It is the main aviation hub of the country, receiving flights from many European cities.

·        Direct Flights: Chisinau is connected by direct flights to cities such as Istanbul, Vienna, Bucharest, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, and others.

·        Transfer from the Airport: You can get from the airport to the center of Chisinau by taxi (travel time is about 20 minutes) or by trolleybus (route № 30). The tournament organizers can also help arrange a transfer upon prior request.

 

2. By Train:

 

Chisinau has railway connections with several European cities. The main railway station is located in the city center, making this mode of transportation convenient for those who prefer ground travel.

·        Popular Routes: Trains run from cities such as Bucharest (Romania), Kyiv (Ukraine), and others.

·        Travel Time: For example, the train from Bucharest to Chisinau takes about 14 hours.

 

3. By Car:

 

If you prefer to travel by car, Chisinau is well connected to neighboring countries through a network of international roads.

·        From Romania: Through the border crossing point in Leușeni or the Giurgiulești bridge.

·        From Ukraine: Through the border crossing points in Palanca, Ocnița, or Mamalyga.

·        Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces in Chisinau, and a special parking area is provided near the "Chisinau Arena" for spectators and tournament participants.

 

4. By Bus:

International bus routes connect Chisinau with many European cities. The bus station is located near the city center.

·        Popular Routes: Buses run from Bucharest (Romania), Odessa (Ukraine), Sofia (Bulgaria), and other cities.

·        Travel Time: For example, the bus from Bucharest to Chisinau takes about 8-10 hours.

 

5. Visa and Entry Requirements:

·        Citizens of the EU, USA, Canada, and several other countries can enter Moldova without a visa for up to 90 days.

·        Citizens of Russia can also enter without a visa for 90 days, but they must have a valid reason for entry. An invitation from the Moldova Tennis Federation will serve as such a reason.

·        Citizens of other countries can obtain a visa at the Moldovan embassy or through the electronic system (if available).

·        Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

 

6. Transportation in Chisinau:

·        Taxi: Taxi services are available in Chisinau (we recommend using official apps such as Yandex.Taxi or local services).

·        Public Transport: Buses and trolleybuses operate throughout the city. The fare is about 6 MDL (0.3 EUR).

·        Car Rental: There are several car rental companies in Chisinau (e.g., Sixt, Europcar).
